Genesis 2:15
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”
Welcome to the G2:15 Project
Our Mission
The G2:15 Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young men through the mastery of practical skills and the spirit of stewardship. Inspired by the values in Genesis 2:15, our mission is to nurture the inherent strength and potential of every young man, fostering their ability to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the world.
Our Vision
We envision a generation of men who are not only skilled and capable but also confident in their ability to make a positive impact. By teaching the timeless skills of manual labor, craftsmanship, and self-reliance, we aim to uphold and celebrate the enduring qualities of positive male characters.
What We Do
At the Genesis 2:15 Project, we provide a nurturing environment where boys can learn valuable life skills and gain hands-on experience. Our programs include:
- Trade Skills Training: Instruction in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Farming and Agriculture: Teaching sustainable farming practices and the basics of agriculture.
- Community Building: Offering a safe and supportive community space for after-school activities and mentorship.
- Workshops and Seminars: Regular workshops on practical skills, leadership, and personal development.
Why It Matters
In a world that often overlooks the importance of manual labor and practical skills, the Genesis 2:15 Project seeks to reestablish these fundamental abilities. We recognize the risk of losing a generation of men who build, create, and maintain—the very individuals who form the backbone of our communities. Without these skills, our society risks becoming disconnected from the values of hard work, ingenuity, and self-reliance. By empowering young men to embrace these timeless skills, we help them build confidence, develop a strong work ethic, and understand the profound impact they can have on their communities and the world. Our focus on stewardship and responsibility ensures that participants learn to care for their environment and communities, reinforcing their roles as productive and respected members of society.
